The Evening Attire Stakes

Starting Saturday 1/19/09 Evening Attire will be honored with his own stakes races. The Aqueduct Handicap has been re-named the Evening Attire, in honor od the 2002 Aqueduct Handicap winner. The race was first run in 1902, and has been won by such famous horses as Stymie, Kelso, and Damascus, who all won the race twice. It will be run at 1 1/16 miles.
